As the current school year draws to a close, two new projects have been approved for Benedictine College. The Executive Committee of the Board of Directors approved plans Monday for the building of town houses as a new student housing as well as plans for artificial turf at the Raven Soccer Complex.

Dancers young and old have been preparing for the upcom­ing Dance Recital Saturday, May 2 in the O’Malley McAllister auditorium at 3 p.m.

Benedictine College once again welcomed business leaders from around the globe three weeks ago on Saturday April 4,  for the Global Financial Summit.  This second meeting of the International Business Adviory Council (IBAC) was focused on forming solutions to our current economic crisis.

Picking out classes for next fall can be a stressful and frustrating process. Getting all the core requirements, the foundations, the perspectives, and classes for one’s major are difficult jobs because the school doesn’t offer the same classes every semester.

Next school year, students will experience some changes in Benedictine College’s meal plan.

The room draw process is one that almost all BC students experience at some point. It is the same procedure each spring with randomized number assignments, year precedence and the scramble to find the roommate with the best place in line.

Students can take comfort in knowing that before they have to buckle down and prepare for finals; they get the opportunity to blow off some steam and let loose for a full weekend of fun. Springfest ’09 is just around the corner.
