Student Government’s mission is to promote the general welfare of the student body in all of its needs. In order for the student body to be aware of its needs, it must have knowledge of happen­ings that affect them. Without this knowledge, students will not know what they need; and if students don’t know what they need, Student Government will be useless.

When plans to build a Marian Grotto on campus were origi­nally announced last year, I was extremely disappointed that I would have graduated and moved on by the time it was built. When the construction was moved up due to a generous donation, I was absolutely thrilled that we as seniors would get to experience this thor­oughly Catholic piece of our campus.
