“Pub Night” success for Ferrell PDF Print

Ferrell and Legacy Halls hosted a pub night on Friday, February 13 from 9 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. in the O’Brien Lounge in Ferrell Hall to promote community and responsible drinking. The event included two kegs of Boulevard Wheat and Fat Tire beer. Brian Bickford, Residence Director of Ferrell Hall, estimated that 200 students attended and said the event was a great success.

Every child deserves a voice - a way to communicate their needs, their hopes, and their dreams.  Mariah is a little girl who struggles daily to overcome a neurological disorder that impacts her ability to speak.  Two years of speech therapy that began shortly after her second birthday brought little improvement in her speech skills although her desire to communicate was apparent to anyone who had contact with her.  A breakthrough finally occurred but in a most unexpected place.  Here is Mariah’s story.
